2016 BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Awards Teacher winner

ASTA proudly congratulates Ms Danielle Spencer from Mitchelton State School, Queensland who today was announced the winner of the 2016 BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Teacher Awards

The awards recognise outstanding contributions made by classroom teachers to science education.

Danielle, a STAQ member, will be assisting in chaperoning the student winners of the BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Awards to Intel ISEF in Phoenix, Arizona, USA in May.

The BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Awards are a partnership between BHP Billiton, the world's largest diversified resources company, CSIRO, Australia's premier scientific research organisation and ASTA, the Australian Science Teachers Association.
