CAPE YORK PENINSULA, QUEENSLAND 17-24 July 2015

Between 17-24 July 2015, another lucky five teachers were selected to particapte in the Bush Blitz TeachLive expedition on the Olkola people’s traditional lands on the Cape York Peninsula in Queensland. The teachers joined more than a dozen scientists and the Olkola Indigenous rangers, to act as research assistants, as part of the 8-day Bush Blitz TeachLive experience. As a team, they discovered new species of spider as well as rare fish and orchids.

Bush Blitz TeachLive 2014

KIMBERLEY REGION, WA 27 May - 3 June 2014

The 2014 Bush Blitz TeachLive program saw five primary and secondary teachers from across Australia join scientists in the field at the stunning Karunjie Station and Durack River Station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The teachers assisted some of Australia's top scientists document plants and animals, and discover new species.
