Bush Blitz Teacher Resource Booklet

Bush Blitz is Australia’s largest nature discovery project - a three-year multimillion dollar partnership to document the plants and animals in hundreds of properties across Australia’s National Reserve System. Since the program began in 2010 Bush Blitz has discovered about 600 new and undescribed species and has added thousands of species to what is already known - providing baseline scientific data that will help protect Australian biodiversity for generations to come. You can learn more about Bush Blitz at their website, www.bushblitz.org.au

The Bush Blitz Teacher Resource Booklet was produced by ASTA, in partnership with the Australian Biological Resource Study, to provide background information for teachers on the Bush Blitz program. The booklet also includes supporting activities, projects and investigations for teachers to undertake with students from preschool through to senior secondary levels.

The booklet was sent to every Australian school as part of the 2010 National Science Week. You can download a PDF version of the booklet by clicking the link below.
