Celebrating Excellence: 2024 Australian Museum Eureka Prizes Winners Announced!

ASTA proudly congratulates the 19 outstanding individuals and teams recognised at the 2024 Australian Museum Eureka Prizes! The Eureka Prizes celebrate brilliance in Australian science across four key categories: Research & Innovation, Leadership, Science Engagement, and School Science.

We are especially thrilled to see Professor Euan Ritchie of Deakin University among this year’s winners! 🌿 As a renowned advocate in the face of climate change and biodiversity loss, Professor Ritchie’s work spans from writing popular articles and thought-provoking opinion pieces to live-tweeting his field research. He’s also the creative mind behind the popular ‘Australian Mammal of the Year’ competition, which has captivated the public and promoted a deeper appreciation of our unique wildlife.
