Date: Monday 26 August 2024, PD 3:25pm – 6:15pm 

School Facilitators: Andrea Youren (includes a light supper) 

1. PD workshops – After-school professional development workshops for teachers (Part 1 & 2, 3-PD @ $50 & Part 2, 1-PD @$25/attendee for visiting teachers, FREE to host-school teachers).

2. Certificate of attendance – A certificate of hours and workshop outcomes will be issued. 

3. FREE rock kit – Host to receive a FREE rock kit and Plate Tectonics poster.

5. Introductory RocksExpo feature How to Use the Rock Kit and Teaching Pack (e.g. how to relate rock kit rocks to rock stories, 3D rendered samples, virtual thin sections and virtual outcrops). 

Presenters: Rod Boucher is an experienced central Vic educator/industry geologist with years of local geology and STEM/EES Science curriculum knowledge.
