Guy has a wide range of leadership experience in marketing, science communication, business development, event management and public engagement. He has worked in the science, engineering, ICT, education, government and not-for-profit sectors. A former physics teacher with a passion for learning and teaching, Guy enjoys leading the ASTA team, networking, developing strategic relationships and advocating for science educators in Australia.

Karine has spent the last twenty years working in the banking and finance industry supporting senior executives, large teams and business stakeholders and specialises in business operations. Karine works behind the scenes to ensure ASTA and Science Assist runs smoothly and efficiently, and loves the variety her role offers and the opportunity to promote science safety and build relationships with schools and corporate partners.

David is driven by continuous improvement while keeping broad strategic goals in mind. He values the relationships he builds with colleagues and clients alike, collaborating to achieve shared goals. With a long, worldwide professional history in Resort Management, Information Technology, Project and Business Management, he brings broad experience, project discipline and partnership broking to the ASTA team. He looks forward to assisting in the delivery of broad impact and engagement in science teaching and student engagement across Australia.

Josh Fartch is a creative specialist with over 20 years experience in communications, marketing and design. At ASTA he leads web development and digital marketing, branding and enjoys creating engaging online experiences. He also designs and publishes the peer-reviewed journal Teaching Science, blending his passion for science and creativity to inspire educators.
